Uncle Sammy is my answer to the profession that provides my livelihood, stimulates my brain, and keeps me gainfully employed – and also makes me long for the day I can retire and spend my time creating. He’s a cloth doll with “skin,” needle sculpted with thread and painted with oil colored pencils. He has curly Tibetan wool for his hair and beard, and his face is very kind. He’s decked out in red, white, and blue, and his coat is a Civil War rendition inspired by photos of Abraham Lincoln. He stands 24″ tall (without the hat, of course!)
Nobody likes the tax man – but I’m a nice tax accountant and Sammy’s extra nice too.
